Submission Guideline

ABSTRACT

A short abstract must be added in the article that outlines the main questions or theme addressed in the paper is required to be sent. An abstract (along with five keywords preferred) must be accompanied with the manuscript.Any manuscript received without the specified word limit shall be rejected by Law Granth.

WORD LIMIT (exclusive of footnoting)

• Articles: 2000-3000 words (Abstract max. 350 words)
• Book Review: 1500-2000 words (Abstract max. 350 words)
• Case Comment: 2000-3000 words (Abstract max. 350 words)
• Research Paper: 4000-7000 words (Abstract max. 500 words)

FORMAT OF THE BODY

• Body of the Manuscript shall be in Font size 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing.
• Footnotes shall be in Font size 10, Times New Roman, 1.0 line spacing.
• Citation in footnotes and in Bluebook (20th Edition) style.
• A margin of 1 inch shall be maintained from all sides.
• Heading and subheading: All capital and bold (Times New Roman font, size 14)
• All submission are to be sent in either Doc. or Docx format (MS word file).
• Any manuscript submitted in PDF format shall not be accepted.
• Manuscript texts should be justified and the headings should be either left-aligned or center-aligned.
• Tabular columns, diagrams, or any photograph with proper sources are allowed to use in the Manuscript. Photographs and diagrams must be of 1200px x 675px or less than that

AUTHORSHIP

• A maximum of two co-author is permitted. Submission more than two co-author shall be disqualified.
• The full names, designations, contact numbers and email addresses of all the author(s), must be mentioned in the cover page of the manuscript.

PLAGIARISM POLICY

Article submitted to Law Granth shall be original and unpublished. The journal uses the plagiarism detection software. But however, it is the duty of the author to ensure the originality. The journal shall not be liable for any plagiarism or copyright issue. Law Granth respects intellectual property and aims at protecting and promoting the original work of its authors. Manuscripts containing plagiarized material are against the standards of quality, research and innovation. Hence, all authors submitting articles to our Journal on this website are expected to abide by ethical standards and abstain from plagiarism, in any form. In case, an author is found to be suspected of plagiarism in a submitted or published manuscript then, his / her submission will be considered invalid.
